Defenders Of The Realm

This is a present for my cousin Ralf's three kids, Zoe, Leah and Ron who are from Germany. The girls are 10 years old and Ron is 9 and they all love to draw which made our experience even more fun together. While they stayed with me this summer at the caravan, we drew a lot of cartoons and then we started to draw a larger picture together on two A3 sized paper. The girls are the ones on the left (Team Defender) and Ron drew his evil ghouls on the right. While they got some help from me and used those very helpful How to Draw books, they drew most of these characters themselves and coloured them with my copics. So for an extra surprise I gave the whole thing a makeover and painted it background on photoshop, outlining and cleaning up a few things and only made a few minor adjustments to the kids drawings because I want this to feel personal to the kids.

When I get home I'll make a few more tweaks and print it off and send it to them.
